The Women to Women collective (hr. Žene ženama) was established in 2016 after the closure of the Balkan refugee route, when women asylum and subsidiary protection seekers started gathering in the space of the Zagreb Living Atelier DK. Today, the collective brings together several hundred women. Through workshops, gatherings, excursions or cooking, these women share and gain skills and knowledge while building on a support network and shared values of mutual understanding, tolerance, and embracing of diversity. They use art as a way to improve their quality of life and foster their integration into a new community. The Women to Women collective is the recipient of the Nada Dimić Award (2020).
